About Me

Hello, I’m Susan Templeton — a people person through and through, and someone who feels genuinely honoured to help others celebrate life’s biggest moments.

Before becoming a celebrant, I spent many years working as a teacher, supporting children and young people with additional needs and sharing my love of science in the classroom. I’ve also trained in forest school and nurture approaches, which really shaped how I connect with people — with care, calm, and kindness at the heart of everything I do.

I bring all of that experience with me into my work as a celebrant. Whether you’re planning a wedding, naming ceremony, vow renewal, or a celebration of life, you can count on me to listen, understand, and create something that truly reflects you and your story. With your input, I will create a thoughtful, personalised ceremony that feels right for you.

I believe deeply in inclusivity and in making sure everyone feels seen, heard, and respected. I love meeting new people and would be delighted to help you craft a ceremony that’s as unique and meaningful as the occasion deserves.

Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.
